Personality in a house

Draw your house here

Based on your drawing and the 10 answers you gave this is a summary of your personality:
You are sensitive and indecisive at times. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You are very tidy person. There's nothing wrong with that because you're pretty popular among friends. Your life is always full of changes.

You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You see the world as it is, not as you believe it should be.

You added a flower into your drawing. The flower signifies that you long for love. It also safe to say that others don't see you as a flirt. You are self-confident and happy with your life.

Meme thingie-do.

Ducks On Ice

Sometimes winter seems to really drag on, and you can feel stuck inside, even feel cabin fever for not getting out of the house.

But it's hard to contain your smile when your faced with quacking laughter of hundreds of ducks and geese that waddle about and slip and slide on their ice pond while they tackle each other for some bread.

Drew and I armed ourselves with two loaves of bread ( whole wheat- cause were suckers) and took off to this private park. When we arrived we were bullied by 4 farm geese that alarmed to all the other birds we arrived with their very loud honks. I got goosed by a goose, and they pulled at Drews jeans. We found ourselves standing on a park bench until they gave up and went away. And slowly all the ducks from the pond came out and surrounded us asking us as nice as they could for some of our tasty whole wheat treats.

There was even one very cautious squirrel who decided to approach us, but found himself quickly surrounded and jumped up a tree. We made sure he got more than his fair share for his bravery.

After we ran out of our bread we went walking toward the lake and found a garden of some very" interesting" natural ice formations ( seen below) and I think I took more pictures than I needed to.

Enjoy!

Up for a promotion???

I Love the job I have right now, I get to help people find jobs, I run a small library, offer technical computer help to people, and am required to do a lot of research. It's a job that has a little something new everyday and I'm trusted about my own work. My Boss has stood up for me when things got a little rough and she is a nice person. I get four day weekends, and the pay is OK ( I could use more hours to buff it up though) I have only been in this job since July. Because I'm only there 3 days a week, and my duties are so scattered, it feels like it has taken me a while to get caught on. While I know everyone is happy with me, I feel like, sometimes, I should be doing more. I would like to work more out of my passion of helping people and put more energy into this job, I've just been careful and have sat back to try to see what really needs doing, rather than just do what I want. It can be hard to do a job when you don't really know what's actually expected of you.

I have seen my position referred to in many ways : Administrative assistant , Employment Services Assistant, and Intake worker , are just a few of them. It is a Catch all position that is hard to explain the specific duties other than, keep clients coming, help the ones that need it, and take over any of my bosses overload that I can, as well as try to bring some extra "flair" into the program.

But I guess I've been doing something right, I've been asked if I would consider applying for an additional position with in this new program.

This program has just received some funding that will allow for a new position at our Centre. This program helps Newcomers to Canada develop their portfolios, update their training, showcase their skills As well find mentors in the community to help them develop their careers. While addressing common hurdles that newcomers have and building the confidence of these women.

I'm excited at the chance to this position. It will be posted in the job banks, and they will have to consider all applicants. I hope I get the job.

The good, the bad, and the ugly

Good: We got to take my dad out last moday to dinner and a movie, We saw King Kong. I don't think my dad has been to the movies in maybe 4 or 5 years. His eyes even welled up at the end. My dad has always had a soft spot for the beast.

Bad: I missed alot of the movie, I wasn't feeling well and had to go to the bathroom alot. and of course although you kind of know somthing is coming on, it waits untill your stuck in the movie theatre watching a 3 hour movie

Ugly: It was a bladder infection, I have only had 1 before, but you know one when you have one. All the walk in clinics are closed at midnight, and hospitals have four hour wait times so I decided to go home and gut it out until morning. Although I would rather see my Family Dr. He is about a 2 hour drive from home.

Good: I got to the Walkin the next morning just as it opened and had to wait very little time at all. I was in and out in less than a half hour.

Bad: Well I thought it was only a bladder infection, the doctors like to poke and prode you when you don't expect them to. The Walk in clinic doctor#1 Jabed at my kidney and I think I jumped 10 feet and screamed

Ugly: Walk in clinic doctor#1 said he thought this could be a kidney stone and I might be in pain for a while. He told me if my skin or eyes turn yellow, or I get a fever or anything feels worse I'm to go straight to the hospital. The doctor booked me for ultra sounds and blood work and all the nasty stuff you hate doing... Why is the washroom always on the far end of the waiting room? I mean seriously, I think the nurses like to giggle as you walk back with a cup full of yellow liquid infront of everyone.

Good: The ultrasound came back showing no stones, the doctor felt this is just an infection, continue on my antibiotics

Bad: the ultrasound did show my kidneys were dialated and so he wants to send me to a urologist ( speacialist of pee in a cup) to make sure everythings OK. If I get a fever - go to the hospital, new pain see a doctor

Ugly: I got new pain in the "Bladder area" bad sharp stabby pain, I was booked to go in and see doctor again

Good: No wait time again... what luck!

Bad: more pressing on internal organs and public displays of urine in a cup

Ugly: Walk in clinic doctor#2 says he is worried he wants more testing done, tells me to go to the hospital immidiatly for scans and more tests

Good: No wait time again, the doctor wrote me a note and they admited me immidiatly

Bad: More public displays of urine ( I really think the nurses find this hilarious) Blood tests and waiting around in a hospital bed on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. ER doctor #1 says I have to wait for a CT scan. And he will be bumping up my meds.

Ugly: I havn't eaten since the previous night my stomach is growling, they won't feed or water me

Good: I hear a volunteer going around offering people warm blankets jucie and Sandwiches, I'm excited at the chance of food

Bad: I'm the only one she doesn't offer food to, I do get a warm blanket, and somthing that no one else was offered..... A magazine, now I don't have to count spots on the ceiling.... Then I look at the magazine, it is a food magazine, I consider eating the pages. ER Doctor #1 goes off duty and I have to retell everything to ER Doctor #2

Ugly: ER doctor # 2 says blood and pee tests are normal. And decides to tell me It is a "High chance" I have kidney stones ( even thought the ultra sound said I didn't) and says this is a "Wait and see" situation. I've only waited 6 hours to be told to go home and come back in if I get a fever, or if any new pain develops.

Good: Atleast I get to get out of there, and eat somthing, and although I'm frustrated I am still waiting to see that urologist. I also get to hang out with Adam and Jen and Drew buys me stuff after my long day.

Bad: I'm still in pain from these invisible kidney stones

Ugly: My Family Dr. Called me, ( He calls to check up on me whenever he gets a report that I even have the sniffles, he is an amazing family Doctor) He tells me he is worried and wants me to go for more tests, he is mad at ER Doctor #2 for canceling CT scan and not coming up with some sort of conclusive diagnosis. I told him my pain is not worse and I will be finding out when my Urologist appt. is tomorrow. Tells me to go to the hospital immediatly if I get more pain or fever ( I think this is the 6th time I get told this?) Says he wants scans done to make sure everything is OK.

Good: the pain I think has started to go away, And I finally got to write in my blog. I had a really nice day with Drew. We hung out in PJ's all day and played video games. I feel rested after this crazy week.
